1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Rift Lantern ("the service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. The service
Rift Lantern is a free, private player notebook for League of Legends. It lets you keep private notes and labels on players you meet and see them again in future games. The service is currently in beta: features may change, and we don't guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for activity on your Rift Lantern account. You may only link League of Legends accounts that you use yourself.
4. Acceptable use
Rift Lantern is for your own personal notes. You agree not to:
- use the service, or anything you record in it, to harass, threaten, or publicly shame other players;
- publish or share other players' notes or identities gathered through the service in order to target them;
- scrape, automate, or overload the service, or attempt to access other users' data;
- use the service in any way that breaks the law or the Riot Games Terms of Service.
We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
The notes you write belong to you and are visible only to you. You can edit or delete them at any time. We only store and process them to provide the service to you.
6. Riot Games data
Player, match, and rank data is provided by the official Riot Games API. We don't control it and can't guarantee that it's accurate or up to date. Rift Lantern isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.
Riot Games data is used under the Riot Games API Terms of Use, and game assets under Riot Games' "Legal Jibber Jabber" policy.
7. Ending your account
You can stop using Rift Lantern at any time and request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing riftlantern@gmail.com.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes and contact
